Ashis Nandy is a political psychologist whose writings on India have made him a much read political commentator of our time. I came across his writings soon after 9/11, and have since been hooked onto reading his articles in the Internet.
In a recent search on his articles I came across a piece he wrote back in 2008 about Narendra Modi. Since Modi is probably going to be India's next prime minister, I think we should all try to know about him, what he has done and what he might do in the future - if past is any barometer by which one could attempt to predict the future.
Here is a link to Ashis Nandy's piece on Gujarat, where Modi is covered.
