Israel's Exceptional Genocidal Inhumanity: What the Holocaust Memorial Industry Worldwide Don't Want You To Know or Say.

 Maung Zarni

Dear Fellow Humans,

My salutation may ring a bit unusual, or even strange and mental. That’s because we presume that everyone (human persons, that is) we come into contact, virtually and in real space, is a human, hence not needing to make a point of being humans. By human, I mean a human person with conscience and capacity for social empathy or social conscience, which can be felt and applied univerally. Something Buddhists call “metta” or universal loving kindness. You don’t need to be a saint or an Enlightened being to feel this moral universalism.

Exhibit A: Millions of humans around the world marching against the ongoing genocide in Palestine and typically wars of aggression by the United States and Israel over the last 25 years since the American invasion of Iraq in 2003.

The truth is everyone is exposed to, and capable of, some moral sentimentsand acts of empathy or kindness. My own observation is that even Nazis grew up with a sense of, right or wrong, and possessed basic humanity or empathy.

But — this is a BIG “BUT” —, Nazis including Himmler’s SS officers, applied their moral sentiments and act on their basic humanity only in their interactions with or in reference to their fellow Aryans. Hitler showing gentle interactions with Aryan kids, Goebbels having a quality time with his family, or the commander of Auschwitz Rudolf Höss leading a normal family life, in a nice mansion with a lovely garden, literally about 100 yards away from the small gas chamber at Auschwitz I, in operation 24.7.

Here is the rub: in the Pavlovian Nazi eyes, only Aryans deserved right to life, dignity and freedom. The rest were Der Untermensch (in German), that is, sub-human or inferior race or “under man”.

Fastforward to Israel 2026. Israeli society and state today are the Nazi Germany of 1940’s, an observation that has already and repeatedly been made even by the Jewish Israeli scholars and activists alike. Israeli executioners in Gaza themselves knew their own moral depravity. One reportedly said, “I felt like a Nazi in Gaza. It looked exactly like we were the Nazis. They were the Jews.”

My historical observation perfectly fits the overwhelming majority of Israeli public and their self-declared Fascist “Jewish state,” and their influential supporters worldwide, including Zionist Jews in the diaspora, Zionist American oligarchs, Western political leaders throughout Europe and the settler colonial genocidal offshoots of USA, Canada, Australia and Argentina, millions of evangelical Christian Zionists, from USA and Uganda to Myanmar and North East India.

Israelis and their aforementioned supporters view as unworthy of basic respect, life, dignity and freedom the Palestinians as a people, both those under Israeli occupation since 1967 and the survivors of Israel’s war of annihilation in Gaza. By extension, Israel applies this Nazi-like selective moral sentiments to the world’s moral majority who have been openly and vehemently opposed to Israel’s ongoing Holocaust, now on simmer in Gaza and higher kill-volume in the West Bank, in the concentration camps of Gaza and the de facto colonization of all of ghettoized Palestine.

Here I would highly recommend US Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) Holocaust Encyclopedia for its most educational and informative website when it comes to doing a quick in ternet research on all things Nazis.

Besides the best known “subhumans” — Europe’s Jews — the Museum listed 10 categories of populations that were not Jewish.

It is definitely worth a virtual - if not literal - visit to the above-hypertext-linked museum site to see the entire list and the types of egregious crimes and pains the Nazis inflicted on these Jewish and no-Jewish “sub-humans” - or “human animals”.

I said “virtual, if not literal” for a reason: I simply couldn’t bring myself to visit the place. despite both my decades-old long running intellectual interest in the Nazi genocide and the fact that I had, 30 years go, lived about 15 minutes drive from the Museum and walked past it numerous times.

I had felt something incredibly fishy and troubling about this institution, built with the Zionist Jewish money, located a short walk from the seat of the American (imperialist) power, but I couldn’t name in. In my mind I quietly asked why this grand holocaust memorial thing, in the originally swampy capital, built by enslaved African labourers on the land that was genocidally stolen from the Native Americans?

In my years in Washington DC, there existed no MLK Jr memorial nor the museum for the native Americans.

I concluded even back then that the US Holocaust Memorial Museum is not really about honouring or memorializing the victims of Nazi genocide, including the murdered Jews of the Nazi-occupied Europe of 1930’s and 1940’s. Nor was the Holocaust Memorial Museum there to promote this universalist moral lesson of “Never again!”

But rather it was about the public display of power and wealth by the Zionist Jews in the world’s most important imperialist capital.

Meet America’s Top 20 “Zionaires”: Billionaires Who Support Israel

Out of my heartfelt disgust about what I instinctually know to be a morally depraved Zionist institution, I stayed away from it while visiting different art museums as part of the Smithsonian museum web, all within walking distance from USHMM.

After 7 Oct 2023, I felt vindicated by feeling disdainful towards this Zionist instition: holocaust memorial museums, serve as a key component of Israel-led Holocaust Industry, including both the most iconic Auschwitz and USHMM in my DC neighbourhood, are there to advance selective morality and ethics whereby the only lives that are worth defending are Jewish lives and the only genocide that is worth memorializing is the Shoah or the Jewish genocide.

Which genocide victim populations get media attention, material support, and political protection, and, conversely, which is denied mainstream coverage, deprived of material support and targeted for policy-trivialization, is decided by Zionist Jews that run these institutions. This memorial industry’s selective application of moral sentiments is stomach-turning, I find.

A case in point: the genocide of Rohingyas from my native country is showcased at this DC museum where Antony Blinken, the Zionist president Joe Biden’s right-hand IsraelFirst man, walked up to the podium, instrumentalized his Jewish family background and denounced Myanmar’s genocide of Rohingya while proceeding to aid and abet Israel’s post-7 October genocidal war in Gaza.

Needless to say, the global holocaust memorial industry — all run by Zionist Jews — either keep quiet, or come out, in effect, in their Pavlovian defence of Israel’s right to commission its own Jewish Supremacist genocide against Palestinian people in Gaza.

Between March 2017 and present, I visited Auschwitz 4 times, and, during the Covid lock-down, spoke at its virtual bi-annual conference on the subject of my own native Myanmar’s genocide of Rohingya. See the news report on my 1st ever visit to this UNESCO World Heritage holocaust museum in March 2017 in order to make a 2-minute video appeal to the European Union on the eve of its Myanmar policy review here.

And yet I found it excruciating to listen to Tony Blinken in 2022, talking about his genocide “determination” in the Rohingya case, or the Jewish Museum trustee’s yaking about why genocide is personal to the Jews. It was a bit too rich for these Zionists shedding their crocodile tears for Rohingyas while exempting Israel and its Holocaust, the semi-genocidal occupation and ghettoization of Palestine since 1967, from their ostensible gaze of morality and ethics.

In the largely moral world of We the Humans, these Jewish Holocaust memorial institutions have proven themselves to be part of Israel’s own “Holocaust” as the ex-Mossad chief Tamir Pardo publicly named Israeli conduct in the West Bank. Both the now Polish national museum at Auschwitz and the UnS Holocaust Memorial Museum lost no time, condemning the Palestinians’ jail break on Oct. 7, 2023 and signalling their unconditional support for the Jewish Supremacist apartheid Israel.

Both educational institutions KNOW that there was another October 7, the armed revolt by a group of Jewish inmates at the Crematorium IV, just months before the Soviet Red Army liberated the camp on 27 January 1945.

The Holocaust Memorial Industry’s institutionalized Selective Moralism and (warped) Humanity, typically exceptionalizes Israel as the only “eternal victim” of ALL genocides in humanity history. I find the whole phenomenon in this industry to be delusional, morally repugnant and intellectually blinding.

In the rest of this article, I have compiled a list of relevant news and analyses on the subject of Israel’s crimes which emboy the exceptional inhumanity or World Class Absence of Humanity (conscience and social empathy) towards indigenous Palestinian peoples whose national Arab homeland they have genocidally stolen under the twin-patronage of imperialist UK and USA, the crimes that have also been buttressed by the post-Nazi but White Supremacist, anti-Palestinian political class of Germans.

Watch German journalist Anna Liedtke in the following link from my substack colleague Kathy from Manufacturing Dissent:

“I was RAPED by Israeli army”

Have a quick read of the following excerpts from Nicholas Kristof’s explosive op-ed on Israel’s system of rape inside its torture centers - officially “prisons” - where up to 20,000 Palestinians are held and subject to all kinds of torture - the kind that the US Holocaust Memorial Museum documented as part of the Shoah (the Nazi genocide of Europe’s Jews). A little over a year ago, I spent half a day with one of the Palestinian victims of sexual violence, Issa Amro, in his community center in the ethnically cleansed Old City of Hebron, and, another afternoon with a veteran Palestinian armed resistent fighter in Ramallah, who recounted in details his torturous experience inside an Israeli jail on the same trip.

These Palestinian brothers I have had the honour of spending time with, are steely inside and solidly human. Their existence itself is resistance to the brutal Zionist occupation. They know it. And their cowardly Jewish Supremacist torturers are in fact incapble of sovereign existence as a nation, without the American patronage, arms, and finance. And Palestinians know this fact.

“What does this standard operating procedure look like? Sami al-Sai, 46, a freelance journalist, says that as he was being taken to a prison cell after his detention in 2024, a group of guards threw him to the ground.

“They were all hitting me, and one stepped on my head and neck,” he said. “Someone pulled my pants down. They pulled down my boxers.” And then one of the guards pulled out a rubber baton used to beat prisoners.

“They were trying to force it into my rectum, and I was bracing myself to prevent it, but I couldn’t,” he said, speaking with increasing anxiety. “It was so painful.” The guards were laughing at him, he said. “Then I heard someone say, ‘Give me the carrots,’” he recalled, adding that they then used a carrot. “It was extremely painful,” he said. “I was praying for death.”

Al-Sai was blindfolded, he said, and heard someone say in Hebrew, which he understands, “don’t take photos.” That suggested to him that someone had pulled out a camera. One of the guards was a woman who, he said, grabbed him by the penis and testicles, and joked, “these are mine,” and then squeezed until he screamed from pain.

The guards left him handcuffed on the ground, and he smelled cigarette smoke. “I realized it was their smoking break,” he said.

After he was dumped into his cell, he concluded that the spot where he had been raped had been used before, for he found other people’s vomit, blood and broken teeth crushed into his skin.

Al-Sai said that he had been asked to become an informant for Israeli intelligence, and he believes that the purpose of his arrest and imprisonment under the administrative detention system was to pressure him to agree. Because he prided himself on his journalistic professionalism, he said, he refused.

I’ve had a career covering war, genocide and atrocities including rape, sometimes in places where the scale of sexual violence is far greater than anything committed by either Hamas militants or Israeli guards or settlers. In the Tigray conflict in Ethiopia a few years ago, 100,000 women may have been raped. Mass rape is now unfolding in Sudan.

Yet our American tax dollars subsidize the Israeli security establishment, so this is sexual violence in which the United States is complicit.”
