USA Inc: The World's Rogue State Turns Hitlerite At Home while Wrecking the Human World Abroad. - M Zarni

The ruling class Americans - "Homo Zombies", I would call them - prove incapable of learning from how empires, far grander than their faux civilization of Amazon, X, Palantir etc., die, in due course.

Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to graveyards, ev'ryone.
When will they ever learn? Oh, when will they ever learn?
—Pete Seeger, "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?"

“He still has not learned a thing!” were the words that etched in my memory. It was the late Douglas Pike , the famed author of “Vietcong: The Organization and Techniques of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam”, on the other end of my landline, from his Indochina Archive, attached to UC-Berkeley, located on Solano Avenue. During my one-year archival studies looking through Burmese language materials for my research on the Burmese military rule, with a decidedly neo-totalitarian orientation, at Berkeley in 1994-1994, I became well-acquainted with Doug. He was one of the last US State Department intelligence officers to evacuate from Saigon in a humiliating scene of, well, the inglorious retreat as the 1 million-strong largely peasant revolutionaries took over Vietnam.

One mid-morning, I phoned to tell him that I just saw on ABC News his former Secretary of Defence and corporate-man, Robert McNamara, break down in tears talking about Vietnam.

So, whenever I think of US adventures abroad - and how self-destructively juvenile, belligerent and delusional they are - I think of Doug and his deep insight into the US war establishment.

The American delusions have disturbed me since I have figured out the signature arrogance of US officials and politicians - or “defence intellectuals” - lack substance, intellectual or otherwise. ,

During my “Free Burma” activist years, I have been in meetings on Burma with US officials, and I lost count of the typical “That is now how the United States Government does things” utterance, from American diplomats.

My deep disdain - I don’t conceal my moral sentiments against any imperialists, whatever the name or nationality — must have stored in my sub-conscience. At my second wedding in a church in a (previously) working class East Oxford, I suggested to my bride and comrade, that we sign Pete Seeger’s classic Where have all the flowers gone? with acoustic and piano accompaniments by my mentor, daughter and fellow dissident exile, something she readily agreed. Despite our differences in nationality and skin, we are cut from the same anti-war humanist cloth.

Watch Pete Seeger live in Sweden in the middle of the Vietnam War in 1988.

Both Pike and Seeger would be turning in their graves that the American ruling class that profit from wars too are incapable of learning anything from their own history of failed imperialist adventures.

Engulfed in Epstein File criminal crisis, and drunk on the tactical success of the Delta Force kidnapping of the sitting Venezuela President Maduro and his wife from Caracas on 3 January, Trump is poised to strike Iran - simply because he can. And the United States Armed Forces is evidently led by spineless generals who aren’t “man enough” to defy illegal orders, as a decorated US Navy veteran and Democratic Senator from Arizona Mark Kelly openly urged his fellow Americans in the Armed Forces.

Not just the political class that is incapable of learning from history the US military men too fail to heed the advice from the previous generations of their elder veterans.

“In 1935, Butler wrote "War Is a Racket", where he described and criticized the workings of the United States in its foreign actions and wars, such as those in which he had been involved, including the American corporations and other imperialist motivations behind them. After retiring from service, he became a popular advocate, speaking at meetings organized by veterans, pacifists, and church groups in the 1930s.”

See War is a racket, by the late Marines Major General Smedley D. Butler whose decorated career spanned across three decades, fighting the American imperialist wars in the Philippines, China, Central America, the Caribbean, and France.

Here is an irrefutable fact. The United States has turned Fascist at home & is pursuing self-destructive imperialist adventurism abroad.

Joined from the hip with Jewish Supremacist Israel, the White Supremacist MAGA USA is going rogue internationally and neo-Totalitarian at home.

We are already in a brewing big war.

At some point, other powers are going to get involved. Iran is cornered: not simply the theocratic regime, but 90 million Iranians.

That many want meaningful change at home to ease their lives is not in dispute. But Iranians know it is, in the final instance, the USA and Israel that have posed an existential threat to their society, inflaming any internal differences and exploiting grievances.

I put myself in their shoes. And were I an Iranian - even if I were a dissident against Teheran - I would strike back with everything I have.

Unlike less than psychologically still juvenile white settler colony of Anglo-American genocidal land thieves and enslavers AND less than 80 years old entity of the Jewish Supremacist settler colonial implant of European Zionists, Iranians have thousands of years of actual - NOT biblical - Civilization and history from which they could draw their strength, pride.

Much as they have been subjected to relentless economic warfare since the late 1970’s when the American puppet the Shah was ousted by the Islamic revolution led by the Paris-exiled Ayatollah, the Iranians don't cry God's chosen victims, nor shiver with the idea of body bags like the US MAGA imperialists.

Weapons alone don’t win wars.

The Los Angeles Times’ Elaine Woo conveyed Douglas Pike’s wisdom: the American dilemma in Vietnam was compounded by an utter ignorance of the mentality of the North Vietnamese high command and strategy and the failure to understand its concept of armed and political struggle.

The United States, he wrote, was faced with “a strategy for which there is no known proven counterstrategy.”

Iranian people had endured 8 years of brutal war with US -backed Iraq on its soil. Saddam Hussein was the American “bastard”, and whatever crimes he committed with US supplied chemical weapons was OK with Washington.

The Iranians witness up close what the US did to Iraq: break it apart to control the territories and oil.

If Vietnam and Taliban, not the same category in miliary might or ideology, could send imperialist mercenaries (who fight foreign wars of aggression for their corporate masters home) in body bags, Iran with its generally anti-Zionist and anti-imperialist 91-million population, is far more lethal:

Teheran has shown what it is capable of and has been preparing for, in the 12 day war.

Watch the best and most informed discussion on Iran.

The commanders of the Iranian Armed Forces Israel killed last year were old guys in their mid-60's or in retirement age, according to to Europe and USA-based Iranian scholars with deep knowledge of their ancestral or birth country.

The new generation in their youthful wings have taken over new roles. Iranians whipped Netanyahu's ass to cry ceasefire via the Orange man. Iran is tight with Russia and China, both economically and militarily.

Top quality drones that Russia hits Ukraine with are Iranian made.

Even at the level of human sensitivity to bullying, Russia and China are still seriously revolutionary states formed out of the fight against oppression. The leaders of these revolutionary states don’t shoot from their hips, saddling on horseback like John Wayne-type Colorado cowboys. They do adhere to certain strategic principles, because their leaders are NOT self-destructive, know their limits, and weigh the consequences of their deeds before they jump.

In sharp contrast, the American ruling class - and its Pavlovian MAGA base. This Trumpian base is led by stupid and delusional demagogues such as Tucker Carlson, that “self-proclaimed Christian”, who, with the bible in hand, trashes any international law abroad and the US Constitution at home, and gets triumphalist about American military might ala the Delta Force kidnapping of the Venezuelan head of state.

These unmasked American imperialists are stuck in their 1990's unipolar moment following the break up of the Eastern Bloc. Chillingly, they are White Supremacists, incurably, who have unleashed ICE, Trump’s militia, really, endowed with $150 billion budget. Trump’s proposed “war chest” for this year is $1.5 trillion while the number of Americans flocking to soup kitchens will soar, in due course.

With tremendous wealth and might concentrated in their hands, the policy and political elite in Washington are like teenagers in the Disneyland-esque Las Vegas who have jumped behind the wheel of a shiny Ford Mustang, after a few drinks at a bar in Mandalay Bay casino on their legal drinking age of 21st birthday.

USA is imploding at home and on the war path abroad.

The American elites have learned nothing from the wars they have waged savagely while treating other peoples’ death and destruction as “collateral damage”.

In sharp contrast to the so-called American Revolutionary experience, which was about white settler slave owners rebelling against the mad British king across the ocean in protest against the Empire’s “taxation without representation” in London, all 3 countries - China, Russia and Iran -- have very high levels of thresholds for mass sufferings.

Soviets lost 25 millions in the WWII, dwarfing the number of, “the murdered Jews of the Nazi-occupied Europe”, as the epithet at the Berlin Holocaust Memorial reads.

Under the Japanese occupation, pre-revolutionary China suffered a textbook genocide in Nanjing. Under Mao, millions died of starvation. Stalin starved several million Ukrainians to death - Holodomor or death by hunger.

Today's Russian-Ukraine war is called “a meat grinder” for a reason.

History shows that such reactionary/imperialist bullies finally run for their lives, and their societies care more about gas/egg prices than any ideals. Revolutionary wars against colonialist interventions and repression are NOT what the United States is about. “America the Beautiful or the Land of the Free” is as bullshit as Palestine as “Land without People, for a People Without Land”, the Zionists’ Big Lie.

Like Jewish Supremacist Israelis with multiple passports they pack up & go home at the sight of the 1st Iranian missiles.

Such LIES peddled by Homo Zombies of USA - and Israel - eventually collapse, and so do the entities built on these lies. But the process of their collapses is already inflicting untold sufferings among billions of thinking humans.

Meanwhile, the merchants of death and Silicon Valley’s Homo Zombie billionaires will continue to play “national security” philosophers while raking in billions of profits and subsidies.
