Today is Nakba Day. 78 years since over 750,000 Palestinians were violently forced from their homes by Israeli militias. 78 years of ongoing colonialism. 78 years of the U.S. funding it.   The struggle continues. Keep up the fight. Read what’s happening and take action.

Israel has taken over 64% of Gaza while bombing it daily, threatening permanent land theft and pushing Palestinians into an even smaller strip of land.1 Monday marked four years since Israeli forces killed Shireen Abu Akleh while she was reporting in the West Bank. She was a Palestinian-American journalist and U.S. citizen. There has been no justice for her murder, and Israel is still assassinating journalists in the region. YOUR IMPACT

We’ve endorsed Chris Rabb, who named the importance of recognizing genocide, for the 3rd congressional district. Nakba recognition in Congress: Yesterday Rep. Rashida Tlaib re-introduced a resolution in Congress recognizing the ongoing Nakba and the right of return.2 The Freedom Flotilla is heading to Gaza: Listen to Helen O’ Sullivan’s account while she sails to break the siege and deliver life-saving humanitarian aid.
