Under President Trump’s leadership America’s conduct overseas is reality tv. Trumpism creates drama through pomp and pulp: B-2 Bomber flyovers in Alaska, helicopter raids by moonlight in Caracas, bullying meek Eurocrats in the White House, tariffing Canada, threatening Greenland, and rebranding the Gulf of Mexico kept Americans riveted like a Christopher Nolan film. Unfortunately, rule by tweet entertains but it does not deliver.

Beneath the Barnum and Bailey bluster about US Military (USM) supremacy and an economy that is the "hottest anywhere in the world" Americans realize the Trump trailers are better than the feature film. The transformation of PROJECT FREEDOM, an operation designed to guide commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz (SOH), into PROJECT NOWHERE was a theater flop that went straight to DVD.

Trump’s Game of Thrones on behalf of Israel has backfired. Iran has the strategic upper hand in the Persian Gulf and Trump is trapped in a quagmire from which there is no easy exit or credible declared victory. How did this turn-of-fate happen so quickly and so decisively?
