Anti-Muslim protests in Myanmar

Myanmar is one of the last apartheid states in our time where bigotry and intolerance is part of the social norms. As part of a genocidal plan, the indigenous Rohingyas of the Arakan state (living next to Muslim majority Bangladesh) are denied the rights to self-identify themselves. They are wrongly called illegal 'Bengalis' or 'Chittagonians' or Kalar, etc.
To defuse the situation, in the face of worldwide condemnation, the Suu Kyi govt. lately wanted to coin a new term for them - the Muslim community, and yet the hateful, savage Buddhist monks and Buddhists of the Rakhine state are opposed to such a new name for the oppressed Muslim minority.
