The Israeli air force bombed a tent encampment in Al-Mawasi camp near south Gaza's Khan Yunis, a so-called ‘safe zone,’ killing two children on 1 December.
The children's mother and a sibling were also injured in the attack, according to medics at the Nasser Hospital.

Additional Israeli strikes across the enclave terrorized Palestinians, killing at least 15 more people on Sunday, including in Rafah in Southern Gaza near the Egypt border, and in Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.
Israeli forces also blew up clusters of houses in the areas of Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun in besieged north Gaza.
Children have been hard hit amid Israel's ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) issued an updated report in October stating that an "entire generation of children is now at risk of being 'forgotten.'"
Unrelenting Israeli violence, forced displacement, and loss of an entire school year are likely to "impact them for the rest of their lives," the report said.
The IRC stated that at least 17,000 children are unaccompanied or separated from parents and caregivers. Based on other crises, the true number may even be three times higher, the IRC added.
Family separation has increased dramatically in the past months, as the Israeli army has forcibly displaced Palestinian families multiple times, carried out arbitrary detention of Palestinian men, and continued to bomb and kill parents of displaced families sheltering in schools and hospitals.
Some children have been found living alone in hospitals, the IRC noted.
The situation in Gaza remains dire as Israeli troops continue to carry out the so-called Generals' Plan to ethnically cleanse, starve, or kill all Palestinians remaining in the towns in the north of the strip.
Ruba, a Palestinian woman in northern Gaza, told Save the Children that she has been "trapped with [her] children under relentless bombs, rockets, and bullets, with nowhere to run" since early October.
"My mother is paralyzed, and I cannot leave her behind. My brother has been killed, my husband was taken, and I don't know if he's alive. Our home was destroyed over our heads, and we survived by a miracle," Ruba said.
"With no food, no clean water, and constant fear, both my children have developed rashes, and my daughter is passing blood, but there is no medicine, no help, and absolutely nothing I can do," she continued.
"They cry and ask me why we can't just leave, why their father isn't with us, why we can't go back to a normal life."
On Saturday, former Israeli defense minister and army chief of staff Moshe Yaalon acknowledged that Israel's political leadership is carrying out a campaign of ethnic cleansing in Gaza.
"The path we are being dragged down is occupation, annexation, and ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip," Yaalon told Democrat TV.
"There is no Beit Lahia, there is no Beit Hanoun. They are currently operating in Jabalia and are essentially cleaning the area of Arabs," Yaalon said.
"Transfer, call it what you want, and Jewish settlements," he added.
In 1948, Zionist militias initiated a policy of "transfer" to forcibly expel 750,000 Palestinian Muslims and Christians from their homes.
By carrying out massacres and rapes, Zionist terror gangs cleansed Palestinians from the land desired by the Zionist movement to establish the state of Israel.
