We have found our enemy, and it is not us: what does Zalensky-Trump-Vance disaster tell us about our world? - Zarni

My own view and feeling:  I feel chill down the spine by Trump-Vance behavior.     They were deadset on humiliating the Ukrainian leader.    What we have in the White House is a group of really callous white men, utterly indifferent to human sufferings, incredibly stupid (self-destructive), whether at home in USA or around the world.       They put US State Department's already callous notion of  collateral damage on steroid.

The absence of empathy   and unprecedented level of latent sadism on display in this administration, which is evidenced in them NOT needing to even pretend that they care about human well-being.    This is the behavior you note in cases of mass murderous leaders & regimes - no less than Hitler, Churchill,   Stalin, Truman (the guy who dropped atomic bombs and was proud of it, when the entire Japanese navy under Fascist admiral Yamamoto was already wiped out), Mao, Pol Pot brothers, Netanyahu and ALL party- German leaders of Olaf's  bygone cabinet (come to think of mass murder, we must not forget Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq and the American architects of these wars in the White House).

I am no fan of Zalensky  who did not move away from American neo-cons who relentlessly sought to turn Ukraine a proxy.   He was a PR product in the West imperialism which egged on him to   (This isn't simply ideological:  pumping billions into Ukraine means pocketing hundreds of millions in individual pockets of those involved).    As long as neo-cons who ran Obama and Biden administrations are gone,  Trump cut Ukraine loose.    Despite talks of Trump being peace-makers, we are on the verge of many wars as Trump USA have made the already bad/unstable situation globally worse.    We are here  because the bipartisan US foreign policy is not anchored in the care or concern for human well-being, but on dollars and dominance.

The elite American political class, that wear the worst veil of "democracy" at home & "human rights" abroad is as delusional & criminal as Nazis, Fascists and Zionists.   They are singularly concerned about their own sense of superiority, utter disregards for International norms and law.   That's for "lesser nations" and "inferior populations."

To be honest, I fear for what future holds for humanity.   I am not spiritual, believe in God or Karma or heaven or hell.     I don't see this as approaching a biblical end of the world where Jews return to the most unholy land to die or convert so Christians can go to Heaven.    Rationally, empirically speaking we are staring at the abyss of multiple crises:  ecological crises that will only increase (which used to be Third World problem, but now Malibu, Hollywood etc with their ill-gotten wealth too are suffering from climate change), and yet Trump's delusional gang are deleting even references to climate change.   As with Myanmar, we have an utterly incapable class of local political elite among the Bama or the ethnic majority who think USA is going to promote democracy in Burma in exchange for minerals, while alienating China next door (1,400 miles of boundaries).   If these Burmese morons succeed. - thank Buddha there is no possibility in my analysis they ever will - we are going to be China's Ukraine.   Xi is smarter than Putin.   So maybe we will fare worse!

This 10 minutes blow up speaks volumes about where the world is heading.    The scoundrels are roaming this earth.  They are not Israeli and American politicians -  not Russians or Chinese.  They are scary because they lack humanity in themselves (neither conscience nor compassion, that is).   Be afraid.   Be very afraid.   We need to organise across national silos.   They are the Enemy of our human world.
