The New York Times report on the rising seas in Bangladesh and its consequences

The New York Times has a feature on Bangladesh discussing how many Bangladeshis, facing rising seas, are living in their borrowed times. It is a good article to understand the consequence of the climate change which affects so many who had very little to contribute to the deadly problem but must now pay high price for the greed of other developed nations.

As noted in the article, Bangladeshi people and its government must take the proactive role to save its own people. Otherwise, millions will lose their homes in the next few decades and the seal of poverty will be on their foreheads, which is a curse for the society at large.
