Dear congresswoman,
History of the region did not start on Oct 7 with the Hamas attack inside Israel. It goes back to the 1940s with the dispossession, robbing and theft of Palestinian land, making millions of refugees of its original inhabitants, some caged inside Gaza and others in Lebanon, Jordan and elsewhere.
What Israel created is an apartheid system, which was bound to explode unless underlying root causes are addressed.
The USA cannot endorse genocidal and war crimes of a settler entity that has no respect for human life and dignity.
History will not be kind to all those who are on the wrong side. The current US congress and the Biden Administration will be viewed very negatively, as ones that endorsed and helped mass murder. You should not place your name amongst the mass-murderers. Stop genocide of Palestinian people. If not now, when? Nearly 10,000 civilians have been killed wantonly in Israeli bombing campaigns. More than 4,000 children have been killed. How much bloodshed does our government require to be shed by unarmed Palestinian civilians to say enough is enough and stop this madness of the rogue state of Israel?
