UN’s Guterres: ‘The ultimate vaccine for polio in Gaza is peace’
The UN is readying 1.6 million doses of polio vaccine for children in Gaza as the disease spreads across the devastated strip. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that if a cease fire is not enacted, then a “polio pause” would be necessary for a vaccination campaign to take place.
