CAIR Condemns murder of School students in Iran by Israel-US forces

Muslim civil rights and advocacy group condemns reported slaughter of dozens of girls at Iranian school in U.S.-Israeli bombing The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today encouraged all Americans to contact the White House and their members of Congress to demand an end to the Trump administration's “unnecessary, unjustified, and unconstitutional" regime-change war launched against Iran for Israel's benefit. CAIR also condemned the reported slaughter of dozens of girls at an Iranian school in the U.S.-Israeli bombing. The Muslim civil rights organization noted that the attacks were carried out during active negotiations and in the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. Associated Press reports: “Forty people were reported killed at a girls’ school in southern Iran in the Israeli-U.S. strikes...” TAKE ACTION NOW: TELL CONGRESS: NO U.S. WAR WITH IRAN In a statement, Washington, D.C., based CAIR said: "The Trump administration has completed its transformation into the Bush administration by starting another unnecessary, unjustified and unconstitutional regime-change war in the Middle East under pressure from the Israeli government and its supporters. "We call on the American people to vocally oppose this illegal war before American soldiers and more people across the Middle East lose their lives. We call on Congress - especially Democratic leaders - to reject the demands of AIPAC, listen to the American people, and take every action possible to stop this war of choice, including by supporting the Massie-Khanna War Powers Resolution. "We call on the Trump administration to stop doing the bidding of indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, regardless of whatever threats he has made or whatever blackmail his government wields, and to instead start serving the American people.” CAIR added, "Dozens of schoolgirls in Iran have already reportedly been slaughtered in this U.S.-Israel bombing campaign and many more people are at risk of dying every hour this goes on." Last week, CAIR urged all Americans to contact their members of Congress and demand support for the bipartisan Khanna–Massie War Powers Resolution to block President Trump from launching an unauthorized war against Iran.
