Oppose the U.S.-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative of the NDAA

 

Despite the so-called ceasefire, Palestinians in Gaza continue to endure immense suffering under deadly Israeli military occupation across much of Gaza. Most families are still displaced, and Israel continues to block humanitarian assistance people need to survive much less recover. Meanwhile, Israel has expanded its military operations into Lebanon, Syria, and Iran – drawing more people into violence and displacement throughout the Middle East.  Some Members of Congress have called for an end to U.S. military support for Israel while it is committing crimes against civilians. But a new piece of legislation could remove Congress’ ability to have any say in the matter.  The U.S.-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative, a provision included in the annual FY2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), would deepen and institutionalize military, industrial, and defense technology cooperation between the United States and Israel—largely out of public view. This must not pass.  Your voice matters. Tell Congress to oppose the U.S.-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative.
